Windermere Real Estate Community Service Day

Every year Windermere associates volunteer a day to complete improvement projects in their neighborhoods and communities.  This year, June 20, 2008 will be Community Service Day for Windermere Real Estate Lake Arrowhead. Windermere’s Lake Arrowhead office will be working with the Re-Leaf Program to supply and plant pine trees for homeowners in the Grass Valley area of Lake Arrowhead who have lost landscaping and trees due to recent fires.  The unique aspect of Re-Leaf is that they grow trees from native seeds harvested from our area specifically for the purpose of reforestation of our local mountains.  The goal is to create a mixed conifer/hardwood forest with all native species spaced in a fashion that provides for a healthy forest.
